Fort Worth engagement photos,

AKA the best practice round ever

Engaged couple kissing and holding hands during a Fort Worth engagement session

Every wedding collection comes with an engagement session. It's where you get comfy in front of the camera, and it's where we become your people.

Why we're kind of obsessed with engagement sessions

A lot of photographers treat engagement sessions like a bonus. We think they're the most underrated part of the whole wedding journey.

You learn how we work. We learn what makes you laugh, which side your best smile lives on, and whether you're a forehead-kiss couple or a piggyback couple.

By the wedding day, we're old friends, and old friends are a lot easier to be yourself around.

ITS JUST

The two of you, the two of us, and a lot of room to be weird.

Nervous? Perfect. So was Jacob.

This is a real text from a real couple after their session. Jacob was absolutely dreading it. Here's how it went:

Wedding planning is a lot. Sometimes the best thing we can give you is an hour where nobody asks about seating charts.

Full transparency, I was super nervous & Jacob was absolutely dreading photos but you gave us peace of mind & you have such a calming energy about you that it made it enjoyable for us! We really needed a day like today where it felt like it was just us in the calm/still moment after being overwhelmed and stressed the past couple of months so thank you so much!" (Chloe)

Make it unmistakably yours

Bring the dog. Bring the board game you met over. Bring the taco truck from your first date if it'll fit in the shot.

Carolyn's session was mountain-bike themed, which (fun fact) is exactly how Jordan got his start in photography. He was in heaven.

"They totally captured our vibe, from the mountain-bike-themed engagement shoot to the gorgeous shots of our outdoor wedding in the hill country."

Pick your vibe. We'll find the spot.

Already have a place in mind? Great. If not, we've got go-to spots all over DFW for every kind of couple.

Wild and rustic.

Tall grass, open fields, and the kind of golden hour that makes everybody look good.

Downtown urban.

Brick walls, murals, and city lights in Fort Worth or Dallas.

What to wear (and what to skip)

  • Wear something you'd actually wear. If you feel like you're in a costume, it'll show. Unless it's a costume on purpose. Then we're thrilled.

  • Coordinate instead of matching. Pick a color palette and let each of you do your own thing inside it.

  • Bring a second outfit if you want. One dressy and one casual is a great combo.

  • Walk in comfy shoes. Swap to the cute ones when the camera comes out.

  • Skip tiny busy patterns and giant logos. They steal attention from your faces.
