fort worth wedding photography for fun couples

Fort Worth wedding photographerS

Be weird.
Be sappy.
Get married.

We'll get the pictures.

We're Dani and Jordan, a husband-and-wife team who'll guide you through every photo so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands.

Big and loud or quiet and classic, we're 100% down for whatever you've been dreaming up.

Camera-shy?

You're in good company.

The phrase we hear most on discovery calls is "We've never had professional photos done." We hear it more than "Where's the bathroom?" and that's saying something at a wedding.

So let's clear this up right away.

You don't have to be a model, take yourselves too seriously, or fit some picture-perfect version of what a wedding is supposed to look like.

You just have to show up. We'll handle the posing, the prompts, and the bad jokes.

"Full transparency, I was super nervous & Jacob was absolutely dreading photos but you gave us peace of mind."

Go all-out. Or don't. Just have fun.

You two, turned all the way up

Our couples would rather spend their budget on what they actually care about than on impressing their aunt's coworkers.

Sometimes that means a black-tie ballroom. Sometimes it's a backyard, a taco truck, and the dog as ring bearer.

We love both, and we don't think you have to choose between sincere and silly. (Ask anyone who's met us.)

You know what matters to you on your wedding day. You want people around you who are ready to go all-in right alongside you, especially the two following you around with cameras all day.

You want incredible photos, even if being in front of a camera doesn't come naturally. But you don't want to spend your whole wedding day feeling like you're in a photo shoot.

At the end of the night, you just want to be married to your favorite person.

Sound like you two?

Candid wedding photography with real posing help

We will never tell you to "just act natural."

Nobody in the history of cameras has known what that means.

01 | We give you something to react to.

Prompts, direction, and the occasional terrible dance move. We adapt to you on the fly, whether you're a total ham or would rather hide behind the cake.

02 | We go first.

Cameras have a way of making people overthink things. If we ask you to try something, we'll act it out for you first. If anyone's going to look ridiculous, it's going to be us.

03 | We get out of the way.

We wrangle the family photos and keep the timeline moving. Then we step back and let the good stuff happen.

Enough guidance that you never feel lost, but enough freedom that your photos still feel like you.

Meet Dani and Jordan

Two photographers, one marriage.

Somehow, putting us both in charge was a good idea.

Jordan Long, Fort Worth wedding photographer and co-owner of RFP Weddings

Jordan

Jordan started this business shooting mountain bike races. A few biking buddies asked him to photograph their weddings, and he liked it way more than he expected.

He spent years in IT and cybersecurity, so he's our gear guy. He can read the light in a room in seconds and knows exactly where to add lighting to make a shot pop.

At almost every wedding, a groomsman tells us Jordan felt like one of the guys. (Coming from the people who least wanted to do photos, we'll take it.)

Dani Long, Fort Worth wedding photographer and co-owner of RFP Weddings

Dani

Dani (hi, that's me) came on to help with the business side and somehow ended up with a camera in my hand every weekend. I'm a lifelong bookworm with a creative writing degree.

I show up with a plan for every part of your day, and I'm the one answering your emails. I'm also the one finding your most flattering angles.

Jordan calls me the bride's built-in bestie.

"The best part was watching them work together: they listen to each other, build on each other's ideas, and bring visions to life in real time."

ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS

The most underrated part of your wedding photos happens months before the wedding

We think the engagement session is the best-kept secret in wedding photography. There's no timeline, no guest list, and no aunt asking when the food comes out.

You get to see how we work, and we get to figure out what makes you two laugh. Nail the engagement session and by the wedding, we're old friends.

"We really needed a day like today where it felt like it was just us in the calm/still moment."
