Geffrey is usually the stoic type. Calm, steady, not exactly known for getting misty.
Then Heather started walking down the aisle, and that was the end of that. He couldn't hold back the tears, and honestly? Neither could anyone watching. A stoic groom who gets taken out by the first look down the aisle is one of our favorite plot twists in all of wedding photography.
A Daddy-Daughter Dance for the Record Books
Just when we thought our hearts couldn't take much more, Heather's daughter came running across the dance floor and leapt into Geffrey's arms for their daddy-daughter dance.
There are moments you photograph, and moments you feel in your chest while you photograph them. This was very much the second kind. It's the image we'd want framed above the fireplace, and the one we hope this family pulls out for years.
Reliving the Day
After her gallery came in, Heather texted us this:
